lyrics
BLOODLINE
Bleeding, holding on to the edge of my luck
I’m breathing, trying to get out of here but I’m stuck
My souls gone, burning up, burning into the flames
I’m feeding, when you fall to these depths there are no names
I'll be there, I'll be there now
Seeing, all the things that I want slip away
Im seething, trying to get back a life in a day
Now hold on, I have to live with diseases
Through this bloodline, I cant pick the pieces
And these love ties, I know you and you know me
But this night cries
I'll be there, I'll be there now
Through this bloodline, I have to live with diseases
And these love ties,
Through the daylight, I cant pick up the pieces
But the night cries
Now hold on, I have to live with diseases
Through this bloodline, I can’t pick the pieces
And these love ties, I know you and you know me
But the night cries

TILT are Steve Vantsis, Dave Stewart, Robin Boult, Paul Humphreys and Paul Dourley. Steve, Dave and Robin are probably best
known for being in ex-Marillion singer Fish's band, helping to write and record his solo albums as well as being involved in many world tours spanning over 20 years....more

The first official outing of the "what would be" Steve Rothery Band. Riccardo Romano was missing with his keyboard wizardry and no singer at all (later Martin Jakubsky of Stillmarillion). Marillion's catalogue was represented by excerpts of instrumental sections where Steve had his solo spot. This is a milestone in the forming of a great band that later became the spokesman of early Marillion era and of course of Steve's solo material. If you want to hear how it all started you have to get this Alessandro Carmassi

I was really surprised and happy to see that Steve Rothery had brought out a solo album. I was very impressed by the album itself, Steve Rothery's playing reminds me of some of the greats from people like Eric Clapton (Edge Of Darkness the original Series and Rush) along with Pink Floyd. He has managed to encapsulate styles of playing and merge them effortlessly and seamlessly, a feat that many have tried and few succeeded. leon-1

As with previous releases this is a solid album from start to finish which continues the storyline, themes and signatures perfectly.
'Enigma' and 'Another Same' are on par with or superior to many commercial offerings by established prog artists.
The Waters, Wilson and Hayward influences shine through once more but I also hear song writing very much in the style of Difford and Tilbrook, 'Trough of War' & 'Another Same' probably being the best examples.
These chaps are the real deal!
